I. Solution Background 

   Special operation vehicles (such as forklifts, cranes, fire trucks, engineering vehicles, etc.) often encounter safety hazards during operation, such as large blind spots and accidental entry of personnel into dangerous zones. To improve operational safety and reduce accident risks, our company introduces an intelligent early warning system based on BSD millimeter-wave radar + area light + voice alarm. Through real-time monitoring and proactive early warning, multiple layers of protection are provided for the operation area.
 

II. System Composition and Functional Highlights

   1. Core Hardware Configuration

<1> Three 11GHz BSD millimeter-wave radars:

Cover left, right, and rear areas, it starts immediately upon power-on and provide all-weather precise detection (resistant to rain, snow, and dust interference).

<2> Three high-brightness LED area lights:

Clearly mark the boundary of the work radius in steady-on mode, with flashing mode to enhance warning effect.

<3> One sound and light alarm:

Integrates voice broadcast and light flashing functions, providing dual warnings to improve response efficiency. Customizable broadcast content.

<4> One main control box:

Connects to the millimeter-wave radar, LED lights, and sound and light alarm, controlling the sound and light based on the BSD millimeter-wave radar's warning status.

    2. Core Functions

2.1 Real-time Monitoring and Boundary Marking

The radar scans the area ahead in real-time after power-on, forming a 3-meter-radius three-dimensional protective zone.

The LED area lights remain steadily lit, clearly marking the hazardous work zone to prevent accidental entry.

2.2 Dynamic Target Warning

2.2.1 Area light flashing (triggered by targets within 3 meters):

When the radar detects moving people or objects within a 3-meter range, the corresponding LED lights flash at a high frequency to visually warn nearby personnel.

2.2.2 Sound and light alarm linkage operation (triggered by targets within 3 meters):

Simultaneously activates the sound and light alarm, playing preset voice messages (e.g., "Dangerous area, do not approach") while the alarm light flashes, reinforcing auditory and visual alerts.

2.2.3 Intelligent self-adaptation

The angle of the area lights is adjustable to ensure the its coverage matches the radar's detection range (3 meters) and precisely meets operational scene requirements.
 

III. System Working Principle

1. Regular monitoring: The radar continuously scans, and the area lights remain steadily lit to mark the operation boundary.

2. Trigger warning: When a moving target is detected within 3 meters → the corresponding LED lights flash → the sound and light alarm activates voice + light warnings.

3. Warning deactivation: The system automatically resets to regular monitoring mode once the target moves beyond the 3-meter range.
